Dr. Shah’s practice is out-of-network with all major insurance providers, and full payment is due at the time of your visit.

While important, these approaches don’t adequately value the kind of root-cause, preventive, and integrative care that Dr. Shah provides.
Remaining out-of-network allows Dr. Shah to maintain clinical independence and devote the time, depth, and attention necessary to optimize your healing journey. Your experience will go far beyond that of a traditional physician visit, with a focus on transforming both your health and overall well-being.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO
Number of Sessions
Dr. Shah’s sole aim is for you to get better as effieciently as possible. The number and type of sessions you may need varies from patient-to-patient and is directly based upon the complexity and number of issues that you and Dr. Shah will be addressing together.
Reimbursement
If you choose to seek insurance reimbursement, Dr. Shah's office will work with you to provide detailed documentation (a “superbill”) to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement directly from them to you. Depending on your deductible and out-of-network coverage, you may get as much as 85% of your visits reimbursed.
Please note: Dr. Shah's office is unable to file insurance paperwork on your behalf.
FSA/HSA/HRA
You may use FSA, HSA, and HRA credit cards for payment.
Labs / Radiology
Standard labs and radiology studies ordered by Dr. Shah are generally covered by your insurance. Specialized lab testing costs are generally not covered by insurance.
Generosity Policy
A limited number of reduced rate / sliding scale patient slots and/or payment plan options are reserved for students and those in socio-economic hardship. An additional application will be requested by Dr. Shah’s office to confirm your need and may include a request for recent paystubs or bank statements. Please apply here.
